Who we are

PRINCIPAL

Steph is incredibly proud of all of her Star Power kids! She feels privileged and thankful every day to work with such a fun, energetic group of theatre-loving young people. Watching them shine in rehearsals, grow in confidence, and achieve their goals is truly the highlight of her week.

Before joining Star Power, Steph worked as a freelance director, choreographer, and musical theatre teacher throughout Glasgow and Lanarkshire, collaborating with both adult amateur dramatic societies and children’s community theatre groups. She has been part of production teams for shows including Sweeney Todd, High School Musical, Annie, The Little Mermaid, and Legally Blonde, among many others.

Outside of Star Power, Steph is a university clinical lecturer. In her “day job,” she draws on the many transferable skills she developed through performing arts — from creativity and communication to teamwork and resilience. She hopes that every child who takes part in Star Power leaves not only with wonderful memories but also with skills and confidence that will support them in everyday life and in their bright futures ahead.

MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER

Megan is truly “in with the bricks” at Star Power — and she wouldn’t have it any other way! She feels incredibly lucky to work with such hardworking, kind, and talented students in both our Tuesday Academy and Sunday show classes. To Megan, Team Star Power feels like one big family (especially since she gets to work alongside her sister!).

By day, Megan is a solicitor, and she loves the change of pace that teaching at Star Power brings. With over six years of experience teaching musical theatre, she is a passionate advocate for the many transferable skills that performing arts can offer — from communication and teamwork to confidence and creativity. Watching her students grow, develop new skills, and flourish both on and off stage is what inspires her most.

Before joining Team Star Power, Megan taught children’s musical theatre with a local amateur dramatic group and performed in numerous productions herself. One of her favourite roles was playing Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde.

Megan believes that musical theatre has the power to shape confident, compassionate, and capable young people — and she’s proud to play a part in helping each Star Power student find their moment to shine.

MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER

Claire-Marie has been part of Star Power since the very beginning and is so proud of everything it has achieved so far. A self-confessed “theatre kid,” she loves nothing more than sharing her knowledge and experience in the performing arts with the incredibly talented young people who attend our classes.

In 2015, Claire-Marie gained her Honours Degree in Musical Theatre and has been applying her skills and creativity to both her professional and personal life ever since. Over the years, she has taken on many leading roles, including Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Maria in The Sound of Music, and Grace Farrell in Annie, to name just a few. These experiences have shaped her deep understanding of performance, which she now loves passing on to her students.

By day, Claire-Marie works as a primary school teacher — a role that perfectly blends her two passions: expressive arts and education. She takes great joy in helping children learn, grow, and find confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

Claire-Marie is endlessly proud of every child at Star Power and hopes they always remember that with hard work, courage, and a little bit of sparkle, they can achieve absolutely anything.

MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER

Hayley is loving every minute of being part of the Star Power family! She thoroughly enjoys working alongside such talented students and dedicated staff, and feels truly grateful to be part of such a creative, welcoming community.

Alongside her work at Star Power, Hayley has completed her degree in Primary Education and works as a teacher.

Hayley’s passion for theatre began at a very young age. At just nine years old, she made her professional musical theatre debut in the 25th Anniversary UK Tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables, playing the role of Young Éponine. This unforgettable experience cemented her lifelong love of performing.

Since then, Hayley has taken on a variety of exciting roles, including Maureen in Rent, Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray, Mayzie in Seussical the Musical, and Sister Mary Martin-of-Tours in Sister Act. She has also appeared in productions of Cats, Oliver!, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Fame, among others.

With a wealth of performing experience behind her, Hayley loves sharing her passion for musical theatre with the next generation. She hopes to inspire her students to believe in themselves, embrace their creativity, and always shine brightly—both on and off the stage.

MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER

Aidan has been a part of Star Power since January 2025 and absolutely loves being a part of the team!

Aidan is a Glasgow born, bred & based actor and teacher. He trained at The Dance School of Scotland & Royal Conservatoire of Scotland BA Musical Theatre course and graduated in 2017. Since then, he has worked as a teacher and tutor across Scotland and has even worked in the USA directing children’s theatre and running summer arts programs. As an actor, Aidan has appeared on the West End, Scottish theatres such as Tron Theatre, Eden Court & more, cruise ships, Edinburgh Fringe & some productions in Europe. Aidan loves bringing his current industry knowledge to the talent of the future and believes in the arts being a life long skill set for lots of avenues!

Aidan is thrilled to bits with all the children’s work at Star Power! He absolutely adores seeing everyone gain confidence whilst also being incredibly kind! He is very proud of every single pupil.
